I'm Chicken

Some people I know aren't happy unless they're looking for trouble.  It's like they're adrenaline junkies in need of a constant low-level supply.

Up at dawn watching Fox news, passing on scandalous e-mails without checking at snopes.com first.  They probably think they're just trying to stay informed.

There's a vast difference between being informed and being misinformed.

Being anxious about something that isn't true is a complete waste of time at best.  In the middle, it'll negatively impact your health and at worst it can get innocent people killed.  There's nothing constructive about it.  Not one thing.

It's much better to concentrate on what you can do to make the world a better place where you are.  Concentrate on building your own world and not on taking down someone else's.  Worry too much about your neighbor's business and you neglect your own.

If you feel too comfortable in your life and need some shaking up, go to a scary movie.  Don't go spreading lies about other people.

Besides, there's no shortage of terrible things going on in this world.  Why not do something about a problem that is real?
